Do you ever feel like you’re just wasting your time? Like you know that tomorrow is not promised, yet you still just kind of stumble along each looking exactly like the day before.
I noticed this in myself once my children left home. It seemed like each day one after the other was the same as before……….go to work, come to an empty home, watch tv, go to bed to do it all over again the next day.
I knew I wanted more, but I didn’t know how. So I dove into self help books. Happiness wasn’t in those books, but it was a start. I started getting more involved with my church. I was creating amazing friendships, but eventually discovered that sin can seep into relationships that even God brings together. It took me a few years to finally discover that I was the common denominator in my happiness. It wasn’t that I didn’t have a lovely home or that my children were off doing their own thing, or that I didn’t have any friends, or any other circumstance that you could imagine that was holding me back from happiness. IT WAS ME!
I was the one who was holding my happiness at arms length. For years I looked to outside sources searching for what would make me happy until I finally discovered that the way that I was viewing my circumstances and my thoughts about not being enough or having enough was keeping me stuck in fear, confusion and disappointment.
This transformation has been a huge game changer for me. And one of the biggest rewards was when my niece commented to me, “Aunt Kristi, you seem so much more relaxed and happy”. It’s such an amazing feeling when others recognize the change in you too.
I can help you make this transformation for yourself. I can help you get past stuck in fear and uncertainty. I can help you discover the happiness that is within yourself just waiting for you to decide to choose it.
